Frequently Asked Questions

  • If you're unsure which treatment is right for you, don't worry. Choose the service that feels like the closest fit, and we can discuss your goals and adjust the treatment approach as needed during your appointment.

  • My approach combines evidence-informed massage therapy with an understanding of nervous system regulation, breathwork, lymphatic health and body awareness. Every treatment is tailored to the person in front of me, with the goal of helping you feel more comfortable, connected and at ease in your body.

  • No - massage therapy does not have to hurt to work. While some techniques may create mild discomfort when working with areas of tension, treatment should always feel safe, respectful and appropriate for your comfort level. I work with your body, not against it, and your feedback is always welcomed.

  • Wear whatever feels comfortable. Most massage therapy is provided directly onto the body, however it is important to us that we work with your personal level of comfort. If you would like to undress to your underwear, that is great. If you would prefer to keep your bra on and have the therapist unhook it when working on the back then rehook it, that is also great. If you would prefer to keep shorts on and a bra/crop top, that is also fine. Staying fully clothed for your massage is also fine, we will work with you on your personal approach to massage.

What is most important is your comfort, and an open discussion with your therapist. The therapist will always leave the room while you are undressing and leave towels/blanket to keep you fully covered during the massage.

  • You're not alone. Many people arrive feeling nervous about their body, their size, their scars, their mobility, or simply being seen.

Please know that your body doesn't need to look a certain way to deserve care.

My role is to provide a safe, welcoming space where you can relax, feel supported and receive the treatment you need. Your comfort, privacy and dignity are always respected, and you are encouraged to communicate any concerns you may have before or during your appointment.

  • Yes. Health fund rebates are available for eligible Remedial Massage appointments. Please check with your health fund regarding your level of cover.

  • MLD is a gentle, rhythmic treatment designed to support the natural movement of lymph fluid throughout the body. It differs from traditional massage by using light pressure and precise techniques to support lymphatic flow and may assist with swelling, fluid retention and recovery.

  • Many people find massage helpful during periods of stress. While massage is not a substitute for medical or psychological care, it can provide an opportunity to slow down, reconnect with your body and support nervous system regulation.

  • This depends on your goals, symptoms and lifestyle. Some clients attend weekly or fortnightly during periods of pain or recovery, while others choose monthly treatments to support ongoing wellbeing and maintenance.
